Cartographers need a laugh, too
Here’s a glorious NY Times (I swear I read other publications) piece on the fluidity of the English language.
Ha, just kidding. Kind of. It’s about the obscene-sounding place names of Great Britain which may have once been perfectly legitimate.
Also, the lead picture from the article may or may not be featured on my laptop’s wallpaper right now, and I may or may not snicker every time I see it.
